Format: First edition, uncut pages, embroidered title on front soft cover and again on spine, includes embroidered ribbon with title on it attached as a bookmark from the top, illustrated throughout with gorgeous hand-colored plates of fashions and people in fashionable situations (hunting, at parties, in town, etc), endpapers have a cute pink and green flowered design, “embellished with 37 whole-page plates including Ladies’ and Gentleman’s Dress (hand-coloured and heightened with gold and silver) Sporting and Coaching Scenes (hand-coloured) and Fanciful Prints, Portaits of Celebrities, Etc. (many from original copper-plates),” golden delicately embellished crown engraved on bottom front cover.
